Tomato sauce and Mozzarella
Tomato comes from Central America, South America and the southern area of North America. Originally of gold colour, thanks to subsequent selections and grafting, it changed to the current red. Mozzarella is a dairy stringy product, originally from Campania; today it is produced worldwide. Mozzarella takes its name from the cutting operation required to separate the single pieces from the mix, during hand production.
